LETTERS #25 - 19 APRIL 1944 AND #26 - 22 APRIL 1944 FROM TRUAX FIELD HEADQUARTERS




I like the timestamp on the back of the letter at 2:00 pm.   Thought the envelope was of interest too saying "War Department".



MY LITTLE NOTES:
Not much in these letters so I posted both together.  Sounds like he is also communicating with his friends and their family.  Also, sounds like he is trying to get permission to visit his family soon.

    Aww I don't know, but there is something so sweet about Electa asking for permission and I'm sure it was very hard being apart!
