What can I add? You gotta love his little cartoons in the letter! A very entertaining letter for 12-year-old brother at home to read (my dad)! My Dad always loved to doodle and was quite the artist. Guess it ran in the family!

Haha, I love the cartoons! Are we to assume that Granddad's job was working on a farm or cleaning up after horses or is that just a joke all-together? lol! Thanks for uploading the post cards, too!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it looks like horse manure! So may be he did. They were close to a forest preserve and and maybe they had horse stables there, or was he referring to all the pets they have at home! Not sure on that one!
