LETTERS #60 - 15 JAN 1945 AND #61 21 JAN 1945

My Little Notes:   Well these are the last two letters from Boca Raton, Florida.  After his 15 day furlough he will be stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and will be assigned to an airborne outfit to finish his training.  Sounds like he is really looking forward for 15 days off of training!

LETTER #59 - 8 JAN 1945

"Best piece of equipment!"

My Little Notes:

Uncle Louie is patiently waiting for his furlough.  Should be soon!

Sounds like he likes Palm Beach more these days than his first impression.  Do you think having a girl friend there might make a difference?

And nothing beats a regulatory US Army bed after a long hard day.....

Not Uncle Louie's drawing....came from the link below.
